We are a multitasking generation and have always been good at more than one aspect to create our place in the world. If that is what inspires people, the creation of wedding gowns with toilet paper is a perfectly believable fact.
The Toilet Paper Wedding dress was the major attraction at an annual event in US. Not chiffon or Taffeta, the fabric was just toilet paper and no other single entity. Couture designers from states like California, LA, Columbia, etc., dropped in with their works, which to the matter of fact were wedding gowns entirely made up of toilet papers. Picture that in your mind. I know. UGH!
But, people, it would be a huge mistake if you are judging them right away. This is because some of these gowns were so fabulous that a single glimpse will make you fall in love with ’em.
Here’s a sneak peek;
Now tell me if i was wrong. Not just any other wedding gown, they are the perfect ones that every would-be bride desires to have. From the very famous fishtail to A-line designs, you could not find a single design that can be inferred as “impossible to carve” with the toilet paper. Whether it is the bodice, or neckline, hem, or the sleeves, every dress feature was as intricately carved as possible.
Debating on the point that whether they are really created with marketing in mind, it can be said that there will be no point. This is not a practical wedding gown that you can preferably wear in your wedding. And, what if it rains! The groom totally doesn’t want that!
Therefore, the next time you are done answering nature’s call and getting ready to clean yourself with that toilet paper, know that someone, somewhere is also trying to create art with it.
